We recommend booking at least 5 business days before your move date for commercial premises. Some properties — particularly large sites or new builds — may require longer lead times. Contact our business team early to avoid any gap in supply.
Small business customers with an eligible small business meter may receive the government Energy Bill Relief Fund credit. Eligibility is determined by your state government. Credits vary: up to $325 (QLD), $650 (NSW), $214.60 (VIC), $650 (SA). The credit is applied automatically — no application required.

The following terms apply to CovaU business energy plans and the National Energy Bill Relief Package 2024–25 for small business customers.

National Energy Bill Relief Package 2024–25 — small business

  • Eligible small business customers will receive a credit on their electricity account under the Federal Government’s Energy Bill Relief Fund, administered through CovaU.
  • Credit amounts vary by state: up to $325 (QLD), $650 (NSW), $214.60 (VIC), $650 (SA), applied in instalments across billing periods as directed by the relevant state government.
  • Eligibility is defined by the applicable state or territory government. Customers must hold an active CovaU small business electricity account with an eligible small business meter.
  • Credits are applied automatically — no separate application is required.

General business plan terms

  • CovaU business plans are available to eligible small and medium business customers in VIC, NSW, QLD and SA. Availability varies by distributor area and meter type.
  • No connection fee applies for standard business connections. Non-standard connections may incur fees set by your local distributor — CovaU will advise you before proceeding.
  • Market offer plans carry no lock-in contract or exit fees. Fixed-rate plans may include exit fees, disclosed in the plan’s Basic Plan Information (BPI) document.
  • All prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
